As the wildfires in San Diego burn out or are completely extinguished by the fine men and women firefighters from all over the world, the stories of survival begin to be told. Up the road where many homes were lost in Poway, a couple survived by jumping in their pool. They watched the fire burn all around them for 3 hours. Imagine watching your home burn to the ground and just watching it go--completely helpless. The couple survived. Thank God they have the opportunity to rebuild.
